and chapped lips. The reason why honey is one of natures purest foods is because bees
act as a filter: they die if they come into contact with toxins and thus do not bring pollutants
into the hive. Honey also contains a germ killing substance called inhibine, which helps
prevent infections.


Olive Oil

The vitamin E in olive oil is an antioxidant. Ancient civilizations used olive oil to help heal
wounds. Today, it is considered a good remedy for skin problems and an effective
moisturizer. It also can be used to strengthen nails and soften cuticles.
